Wiener dogs can hear the sound of the cheese drawer open even if they are sound asleep. No the veggie drawer – they will not be fooled by that almost identical drawer. Only the cheese drawer.

LOL!! I just wrote the very same thing about the cheese drawer!! 1. I thought my dog was the only one who did this and 2. I thought I was the only one who called it the “cheese drawer!”

Dasher can be sound asleep and if the cat make a purr he hears it and it up and at her side. Or I can go in a room and if the door is ajar he has to push it open. EVERYTIME! I can count to 5 and he is in the door.
Wiener Dogs can pick out a specific car horn when the alarm is set from all of the other noises down on the street.
Mine know the exact moment my husband is going to sit on the couch and will practically break their necks to get on there with him to snuggle up and take a nap…
We had one who could tell the bread drawer from the cookie drawer. She liked bread.
I have 3 low riders: Gracie & Sully (10yo littermates) and Harley (who I call BooBoo, a 6yo rescue I’ve had since JUL 2011). Anyway, BooBoo absolutely loves Frappuccino, they each get a sip from the cap. But he hears the ‘pop’ when you open the lid from anywhere in the house, even when my brother is downstairs. He is so funny, I just love him so much!!!
i have 3 doxies, one has to take phenobartital twice a day, and i take meds also, but she knows exactly when i open her bottle, and of course the cheese draw also in the frig, it is so funny how smart they are!!
