Watching Wally’s Weight

It’s very important for a dachshund to watch his weight. A few extra pounds can lead to back problems (and front problems, for that matter). My family is very good about feeding me only healthy food. In fact, I know I eat healthier stuff than my master, Ralph. The problem is, Ralph is always eating stuff around the house, and being a wiener dog, I’m always following him around. A family of 5 could live off the stuff he drops on the ground! Potato chips, pretzels, pork rinds… It’s like a smorgasbord! It really makes it hard to stay in shape. Fortunately, I run around a lot!

Wally, if it’s on the floor, that’s your territory!

Have you seen the recent pics of Obie the dachshund? He’s down to 44 lbs now. I think his goal is 32 lbs.
